Update on the Mistletoe Half Marathon
It was a great run. It rained the first 3 miles and after that it completely stopped and really was a great day for a Half Marathon. Not too cold and not hot at all. I am very pleased with my clock time and did really better than I had thought I would.
Here is a breakdown of the miles.
Mile 1 831
Mile 2 810
Mile 3 801
Mile 4 822
Mile 5 857
Mile 6 821
Mile 7 842
Mile 8 826
Mile 9 840
Mile 10 831
Mile 11 819
Mile 12 759
Mile 13 803
Total Time 1 Hour 50 Minutes
Average Mile Pace 822
Total Calories Burned 2096
Again, I am amazed that I did 13.1 miles all under a 9 minute pace. If God allows me to keep at the training I should come back stronger than I was before starting Seminary. Todays time is just 8 minutes slower than my best ever Half Marathon Time and I am 20 pounds heavier than I was then. I am not actually trying to lose weight but will all the training miles I am currently doing the pounds are burning off.
