The Speed of Change

I love technology and I like to be in on the latest improvement but this commercial reminds me how that is impossible in today’s world. Several years ago I was in the market for a new laptop. I asked the person who worked at Best Buy how long it would be after my purchase that something new and better would replace it. His answer shocked me, “before you get out of the store.”

We live in the Millennium of CHANGE!

Organizations and people who refuse to change are going to wake up one day and realize they have been left behind. By the way at the rate of speed with change today, that won’t be long.

  1. It’s interesting that this commercial seems to be pointing out the futility of going for “the next best thing” but then, at the end, offers the consumer the chance to try…
